ARE YOU VIETNAMESE OR OF VIETNAMESE BACKGROUND?

In partnership with the Australian Vietnamese Women's Association, The United Vietnamese Buddhist Congregation of Victoria, Indochinese Elderly Refugee Association and the Footscray Asian Business Association, you are invited to participate in the following survey about people of Vietnamese background living in Australia. The survey is about the ways in which connections with Vietnam are maintained by Vietnamese people who have settled in Australia, the children of Vietnamese people and those who have a close connection with Vietnam. It should take from 10 to 20 minutes to complete depending on how much you want to say.
This is part of a research project being coordinated by Victoria University, the University of Adelaide, the University of Western Australia and LaTrobe University. The purpose of the study is to gain a greater understanding of how people maintain links with a homeland which represents an important part of their family background, identity or cultural heritage. The information is being collected to understand the connections between homelands and Australia so that government can be advised about how to maximise potential benefits that can flow from these ties.

QUƯ VỊ CÓ PHẢI LÀ NGƯỜI VIỆT NAM HAY ĐẾN TỪ NGUỒN GỐC NÓI TIẾNG VIỆT?

Cùng với Hội Phụ Nữ Việt Úc, Giáo Hội Phật Giáo Việt Nam Thống Nhất tại Victoria, Hội Cao Niên Tị Nạn Đông Dương và Hội Thương Gia Á Châu Footscray, chúng tôi mời quư vị tham gia cuộc khảo sát dưới đây về người dân gốc Việt sinh sống tại Úc. Bản khảo sát nghiên cứu về những cách duy tŕ quan hệ với quê hương của người Việt sinh sống tại Úc, con cái của họ và những người có mối quan hệ mật thiết với Việt Nam. Bản khảo sát kéo dài khoảng từ 10 đến 20 phút tùy vào việc quư vị muốn trả lời dài hay ngắn.
Đây là một phần của một dự án nghiên cứu, đồng thực hiện bởi trường Đại học Victoria, Đại học Adelaide, Đại học Tây Úc và Đại học LaTrobe. Cuộc nghiên cứu này nhằm mục đích t́m hiểu sâu sắc hơn về cách người dân duy tŕ quan hệ với quê hương. Mối quan hệ này là một phần quan trọng trong nguồn gốc gia đ́nh, đặc tính hoặc di sản văn hóa của họ. Thông tin được thu thập để hiểu rơ về các mối quan hệ giữa quê hương họ và nước Úc để có thể đề xuất với chính phủ về việc làm thế nào tối đa hóa những lợi ích tiềm năng có thể thu được từ các mối quan hệ gắn bó này.

Tất cả mọi thông tin, bao gồm cả thông tin tài chánh, sẽ được hoàn toàn giữ kín. Sẽ có thêm nhiều chi tiết về bản khảo sát khi quư vị mở đường truyền (the link) của trang mạng.
