The Centre aims to:
- address long-term, strategic economic and social issues of international
concern
and significance
- consider, in doing so, the role of both general ideas and specific institutions, and the relationship between them
- focus on basic issues relevant to Australia's future, with special reference to Asia
- develop and train graduate students.
